This specialty coffee shop has only been open for 3 months, but it has already created a buzz in the neighbourhood due to its friendly barrista and live jazz every weekend. I hear the coffee is not bad either ;)

The front entrance is located off a wide sidewalk with no obstructions. There is no automatic button, but there are two, 34 inch wide doors that are usually kept open on a nice day. Indoors is small, but quaint with 5 accessible tables to enjoy your coffee. The pathway between the table and dessert counter is 40 inches wide.

The only washroom located in the Coffee Jazz Mixers is wheelchair accessible with some key features: automatic lights and Dyson hand dryer, 2 grab bars, a floating sink 29 inches from the floor and a entrance way measuring 36 inches. In case of a power outage, there are battery powered ceiling lights.

Parking will be an issue in the area, but Finch subway station is accessible and around the corner. There is also underground parking options that owner, Alan, requests customers call beforehand for details.

Overall, Coffee Jazz Mixers is a welcome addition to the Yonge & Finch neighbourhood where accessible establishments are uncommon. Check out their website for a list of their unique food and beverage options: http://www.coffeejazzmixers.ca/?page_id=2729

Live jazz every Saturday between 8pm-11pm and Sunday at 3pm-6pm. The small outdoor patio is not accessible due to limited space between tables.
