There is no mistaking that Ferro is not your traditional Italian eatery. Yes, the southern Italian food offered is delicious but it is the metal finishing combined with the suggestive artwork that made me go home and make plans to return. This place is just cool.

The exterior is simple with a single 32 inch door at sidewalk level. There is a small patio out front which would not be able to accommodate any type of mobility device. Indoors there are a variety of tables that are of different materials and size, but all standard height from the floor (28 inches).

The 2 male and female washrooms are located at the back and both are single room, accessible spaces for everyone. There is transition into carpet on the way but there is plenty of space between the tables to assist with adjusting of speed. Features within the rooms include 2 grab bars, 30 inch door frame, 27 inch floating sink. The paper towels are placed quite high and there are no automatic features.

Regarding transportation, St. Clair West station is the closest subway however it is currently under construction to become wheelchair accessible (stay tuned!). If driving. there is Green P parking a block west or meter parking on the street.
