How happy am I to find an accessible Thai restaurant on the Danforth! Small yes, but worth coming a little early for dinner.
The storefront of this restaurant has a slight ramp leading up to the front door which measures 30 inches wide. No automatic opener. Inside there is just two rows of tables with a unobstructed, wide pathway in between them.
There is a single accessible washroom right before the kitchen which is quite cluttered due to the cleaning supplies also stored in the room. There are 2 grab bars in the space with four foot clearance in front of the toilet. Small sink in the corner would be challenging to use if staff did not move equipment, so I would ask beforehand.
Parking is available on the main street or side streets. It is free after 6 pm and on Sundays. The neighbouring Greenwood subway station is not accessible.
NOTE: Jean's Vegetarian Kitchen is only opened for dinner starting at 5pm and they are closed Mondays.
