Call: (416) 901-1299
At the Eastbound Brewing Co. you can enjoy a variety of beers brewed in house alongside a menu of elevated pub favorites. The open and inviting space has nothing to hide, with an open kitchen and visible brewing area, a great addition to the Riverside community!
The entrance to Eastbound Brewing Co. is level with the sidewalk and has a ½ inch lip upon entering through the 35 inch wide double doors. There is no automatic door opener in the front entrance but the staff were very friendly and willing to help out. The inside space is bright and open with 29 inch tables that feature removable chairs and two booths. The bar is 44 inches high, also with removable chairs. There is a clear path straight to the back of the restaurant where the accessible bathroom is located, with the narrowest hallway measuring 58 inches wide.
The accessible single stall bathroom has an automatic door opener with a lever handle on the outside and inside of the door, which measures 34.5 inches wide. There is plenty of turning space inside and 31 inches of clear space underneath the sink. Two grab bars are located behind and to the left of the toilet. The paper towel is mounted to the wall beside the sink and hand soap is located beside the lever tap. Additional features include a tiled mirror and two emergency buttons.
The brewery is well lit and has wooden floors throughout with the exception of a mat at the front entrance. There was low level background music when we visited during early afternoon on a weekend. The menu featured black print on a white background and staff were able to provide detailed descriptions of beer and menu options.
The 501 streetcar stops directly in front of the Eastbound Brewing Co., however this is not one of the new accessible streetcars. There is also a Green P parking lot by the corner of Gladstone and Queen with accessible parking spaces if travelling by car.
