On a cold January evening I stopped in at Celena’s Bakery for a hot coffee and fresh loaf of bread. Celena’s Bakery not only serves excellent reunion island coffee, but all the treats and breads are designed, hand-made, and baked in house.

The entrance has no steps, and the cafe is accessed through a door measuring 36-inches with a 1/4" lip transition. Once inside, there are 29-inch tall tables with 25.5-inches of clearance and movable chairs. Additionally, at the front window there is ‘bar style’ seating measuring 40-inches tall.

The cafe is all on one level and is mostly tile with a few low winter carpets in place. The private, accessible washroom has a 37-inch wide door that swings inwards. The washroom is 76-inches by 90-inches. A horizontal grab bar is located behind the toilet, and an angled grab bar is situated beside it. The sink is 29-inches high with clearance space underneath. Soap and paper dispensers can be reached on either side of the sink. There is a change table in the washroom and no automatic features at this venue.

If driving, there is ample street parking available. Alternatively, if taking transit the accessible Woodbine station is 250m away along Line 2.
