Hitch certainly doesn't have the sprawling, open space of some other places we've reviewed. But what it lacks in space it makes up for in character. And small doesn't have to mean unaccessible, especially here!

You may know Gio Rana's as "The Nose" based on the fact that there is no signage indicating what the store front is called at the corner of Queen and Leslie St. It works though because the large 3D nose hanging over the doorway helps people find the Italian restaurant a mile away!

Cannot say enough about this great cafe in Leslieville. Not quite sure what the exact name of the cafe is...(signage displays "te aro" but website reports a name change since January?), but it is designed to be not only stroller friendly, but wheelchair friendly as well.
