Ruth's Chris Steakhouse is an upscale steak restaurant in the heart of downtown Toronto. There are a few entrances to the restaurant, some from street level and some from the concourse that is part of the Hilton Hotel, but the good new is that all are accessible!
There is an elevator from the street entrance measuring with the door measuring 36 inches wide, and it is wider than that inside the elevator. Elevators inside the hotel are also large and spacious. The entrances to the restaurant are all double doors and very wide. In the restaurant, floors are mostly carpet with some tiling near the bar. There are some sections of the spacious restaurant up a few steps, but the majority of tables are on the main level. Tables measure 28 inches off the ground.
The washroom stalls in the restaurant are unfortunately not accessible, but just outside the restaurant in the Hilton concourse you can find an accessible washroom. The staff can show you a path through the restaurant so you don't have to go back to the front doors, which is handy as the restaurant is quite big. The doors to this bathroom have automatic openers and an accessible stall with a door 32 inches wide. The sink measures 28 inches off the ground and has a cut out for wheelchairs in the counter. There is a lower automatic hand dryer and lower paper towel as well.
Ruth's Chris steakhouse is located a block south of Osgoode TTC station, and is close to a Green P located at 110 Queen St West.
