Chef Daniel Boulud’s French brasserie, Café Boulud, is located in the Four Seasons Hotel in Yorkville, and serves a seasonally-changing menu rooted in French tradition, highlighting both bistro classics and contemporary dishes.
The restaurant is open for dinner seven nights, lunch Monday through Saturday, brunch on Sundays and breakfast daily. A number of seats are also reserved for walk-ins every night. The vintage-inspired ambiance is highlighted by a comfortable lounge and wraparound banquettes, a dining bar counter, and a semi-private room that accommodates up to eight guests.
Café Boulud is an accessible restaurant on all counts. The restaurant is located on the second floor of the hotel which can be accessed by a large elevator. The double door main entrance is always kept open with a friendly face welcoming you as you arrive. Inside Café Boulud, there is wide walkways that separate a variety of standard height tables and booths. On the same floor right outside the restaurant, you will find the accessible washrooms that have tons of features including automatic door openers, a change table and unobstructed sinks.
The space is well lit, the background music is low, and the staff members are very professional and willing to assist customers who have physical, visual or hearing challenges. There is space to store your wheelchair, walker, scooter, cane, or baby stroller at the front entrance- the restaurant staff will gladly take care of this on your behalf.
If you wish to park at the Four Seasons, they offer paid valet parking. The hotel does not have a designated parking lot that’s open to the public, however just 2 blocks west on Yorkville and Bellair St. there is a large underground Green P lot. If taking transit, the nearest accessible TTC subway station to Café Boulud is Bloor-Yonge station.
