Mofer Coffee

Over the winter break, I visited a new, accessible coffee shop along Danforth Ave. This is the second location for Mofer Coffee, which opened in December on the corner of Danforth and Coxwell. They serve freshly roasted, single origin, Ethiopian coffees as well as sandwiches and salads.
The entrance has no steps and is accessed through two 35 inch wide doors with an ¼ inch threshold. They are halfway through the installation of a new automatic door button (which should be completed by the time this is posted). The coffee shop is all on one level with wood flooring. The restaurant seating options include 28 and 35 inch tall tables with movable chairs and a few couch-like chairs in front of an electric fireplace.
The washroom is located through a 35 inch door leading to a small vestibule. There is a second 35 inch wide door that swings inwards leading to a private, accessible washroom. The washroom is 90 x 70 inches. A horizontal grab bar is located behind the toilet and a diagonal grab bar is situated beside it. The sink is 35 inches high and 24 inches wide with no clearance space underneath. Soap and paper towel dispensers are placed on either side of the sink. The washroom contains no automatic features.
If driving, there is some street parking on Danforth as well as most of the local side streets. Alternatively, if taking transit the closest accessible subway station is Coxwell station.
